Seiko Lord Matic Weekdater 5606-7220 from June 1972 - 23 Jewels - Hand winding feature and hacking. Working Quickset, in Superb Condition. Day wheel in English and Spanish.

A lovely example of the iconic Suwa 5606 movement series. Ahead of its time in so many ways the 5606 was only let down by the quickest mechanism but this one is working smoothly and looks absolutely stunning in it's brushed stainless steel cushion case which to me is totally 1970's. The linen dial is in stunning condition under a new crystal. The hands also look exceptional. The case is in excellent shape with some light wear normal for the age of the watch but no serious dings. Case-back markings are also very well defined. It comes on a new blue NATO strap.

Not serviced or waterproof but keeping great time

Case: Original, unpolished stainless steel, some age related wear but no noticeable dings. Solid case back with movement accessed through crystal, very well defined markings
