A very nice example of a Seikomatic Weekdater Diashock 35 Jewels 6218-8970 Automatic in a stainless steel case. This watch was the precursor to the 62GS series and at the time was the flagship of the Seiko automatic lineup. The case is in good condition having never been machine polished, however the caseback markings are quite worn and the date wheel has some discoloration. Serviced and keeping excellent time. Date at 3 o'clock and day of the week in English at 6 o'clock featuring the iconic Saturday in blue and Sunday in red.

Movement: Original SEIKO Cal. 6218A - Excellent condition, screw heads are in good condition. Fully serviced, test worn for 24 hours & keeping excellent time during inspection. Please see photo of watch on timegraher for readings, accuracy shown cannot be guaranteed but +/- 20 s/d is our benchmark for serviced watches. Day/date turn over at midnight & quickset works as it should.
